Johnston Dollars For Scholars Dinner and Auction Saturday
This year is the 10th Annual Dinner.

Enjoy an evening of dining and entertainment Saturday at the Tenth Annual Johnston Dollars for Scholars dinner and auction.
Johnston Dollars for Scholars, which was established in 1987, is a non-profit organization of community volunteers who raise money to assist graduating seniors pursue their dreams.
The group's goal is to give every Johnston High School senior financial assistance as they continue their education.
The evening kicks-off at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn with the silent auction and dinner, live auction and concludes with live entertainment.
This year, over 70 silent auction items are available including overnight stays, dinners at local restaurants, prom packages, tickets to local sporting events and much more. The live auction includes vacation packages and a brand new John Deere Riding Lawn Mower.
Tickets, which are $35, are available from the Johnston Community School District office or from any Johnston Dollars for Scholars Board member.
Dollars for Scholars has provided more than 1 million dollars and over 3000 scholarships in the last 20 years. Last year, over $103,000 scholarships were given to 232 Johnston seniors.
