Johnston Police Blotter Rewind: Hit-and-Run, Drug Charges

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Feb. 23 to March 4. Take a look at the reports.

Editor's note: All information is provided by the Johnston Police Department in incident reports through March 4. Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Feb. 23
A 54-year-old woman reported someone had entered her storage unit and ransacked it. Several items were stolen.

Lucas Schuster, 19, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Feb. 24
A traffic stop led to the arrest of Victoria Crawford, 18 on an outstanding warrant. She was also charged with no drivers license, no insurance and harassment of an officer for providing false information.

Feb. 25
A 49-year-old woman reported fraudulent charges on her credit card.

A 31-year-old woman reported being harassed by a boyfriend she had broken up with recently.

Officers were dispatched in regard to a domestic dispute.

Feb. 28
The driver for Mediacom reported someone had run into the Mediacom van while it was parked at the gas pumps Casey's, while the driver was inside the store.

Taylor Burkhead, 18, was arrested for trespassing at Johnston High School.

A 16-year-old girl reported a disagreement with her parents had become physical. No injuries were reported and the case is open.

Kum & Go, 5225 Norhtwest 86th Street, reported a gas drive off.

March 1
Edwin Brose, 28, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for registration violation.

A 17-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

March 2
Joshua Smith, 19, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and cited for speeding.

Michael Osteen, 35, was arrested for driving while barred - habitual offender.

March 4
Andrea Yager, 41, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and cited for speeding.
