Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club Stops by Local Elementary Schools
The Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club's School Outreach Program shows students the basics, while encouraging fun.
Elementary students at two Johnston and Urbandale schools received a special visit during P.E. this week.
The Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club stopped by Wallace Elementary in Johnston and Rolling Green Elementary in Urbandale as part of their school outreach program.
The program is an opportunity for instructors to share their passion, expertise and vision on regular exercise, teamwork while having a little fun.

Each winter, the JUSC staff heads to Urbandale and Johnston schools to work with kindergarten to fifth-grade students on soccer specific sessions during gym classes.
Dustin Larson, Rolling Green P.E. teacher, said the program has been taking place for the last five years in his classes.
