No Students Injured in Johnston School Bus Accident Monday Morning

No students were injured Monday morning when a Johnston Community School bus ended up in the ditch.

Another bus picked up the students and took them to their destination of Summit Middle School, the Des Moines Register reported. Students were about 15 minutes late.

The bus went into the ditch because of fog after the driver of the bus was trying to turn around on a narrow street near Trail Ridge and Beaver Drive, district spokeswoman Laura Dillavou told the Register.
