Sophomores Hanna Sieren, Amy Keech, and Taylor Bonnett volunteered to help with the evening's events.

"We helped set-up and now we get to socialize a bit," Hannah said of manning the plate table. "After we get to help take down."

The girls will get credit toward the Silver Cord Program for the event, but they were enjoying the night.

"The people we worked with are really fun," Hannah said. "It's a cool set-up."

One thing was for sure, the pancakes were delicious.

"We've already had several," Taylor said. "They were super good."

All proceeds from the community event will go to the Johnston Partnership, to help with funding of the Johnston DMARC Food Pantry, Clothes Closet and Johnston Youth Mentoring Program (JUMP).
