Police Blotter Rewind: Stolen Coins, Assault, Disorderly Conduct

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Dec. 7 to Dec. 12. Take a look at the reports.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 7
A Johnston Middle School student reported an iPod Touch was stolen.

An 83-year-old woman reported receiving phone calls an unknown person watching and driving by her residence in the 5700 Block of Wentworth.

Roger Palacios, 56, was cited for driving while his license revoked in the 5300 block of Northwest Beaver.

Leigh Williams, 47, was arrested for public intoxication in the 6100 block of Merle Hay Road.

Youth Homes of Mid America reported a runaway

Dec. 8
A 55-year-old man reported silver coins and currency were stolen from the 6800 block of James Barnes Court.

Dec. 10
Kurrent Electric reported phone wire was stolen from a construction trailer. The approximate loss is $5,100.

Officers were dispatched to a residence in regards to a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. Husband was not present when officers arrived.

A 69-year-old woman reported someone had used her personal information to obtain a loan.

A 14-year-old student was charged with assault and disorderly conduct for striking another student.

Aaron Rowedder, 21, was arrested for driving while revoked and interference with public officials for providing false information.

Dec. 11
Edward Lloyd, 46, was arrested for driving while revoked and cited for no insurance and expired registration.

Officers made a report in regards to a barking dog complaint in the 10300 block of Norfolk Drive.

Dec. 12
A Johnston High School student reported receiving a harassing text message from another student.

A Johnston High School student reported his iPod Touch was stolen from this locked locker during basketball practice.
