Police Blotter Rewind: Stolen iPod at Johnston High School, Harassing Text Messages

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Jan. 9 and Jan. 16. Take a look at the reports.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Jan. 9
A Johnston High School student reported his iPod stolen from his locker.

Jan. 10
A Johnston High School student reported receiving harassing text messages from another student.

A 45-year-old woman reported receiving harassing  text messages from a male subject.

Jan. 11
Irmin Luqueno, 23, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and cited for no drivers license and driving on wrong side of the road.

A 44-year-old man reported someone had attempted to change his billing address on his credit card and make a $1,000 charge on the card as well. Victim believes the person may have his social security number.

Jan. 12
Jerod Miller, 33, was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

Jan. 13
Eric Lamb, 35, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and cited for speeding.

Nicholas Thompson, 41, was arrested for violating a no contact order.

A 41-year-old woman reported her daughter was allowed to take her car but no her daughter was refusing to return it and she wanted to report it operating without owners consent.

Jan. 14
Super Lube Service Center reported theft of money from their coin operated machine.

Jan. 15
The father of a 16-year-old girl reported an employee of a satellite installation service left his mane and phone number on his daughter's car. Informational report only.

A 44-year-old woman reported being harassed by her boyfriend's ex-wife.

Juan Guzman was arrested for possible violation of no contact order.

Jan. 16
A 16-year-old girl was charged with possession of prescription drug without a prescription at Johnston High School.
