Residents Invited to Meeting on East of Merle Hay Road Neighborhood Improvements

The meeting is to being public involvement of potential infrastructure improvements.

Residents east of Merle Hay Road will have the opportunity to give input.

The city of Johnston will host a public information meeting to discuss exploring potential infrastructure projects within the East of Merle Hay Road Neighborhoods on Monday.

The neighborhood is defined as the area east of Merle Hay Road, west of Northwest Beaver Drive, north of Johnston Drive and south of Northwest 62nd Avenue.

The purpose of this meeting is to begin a public involvement process that will involve city staff and officials, residents, and stakeholders in the decision making process for potential infrastructure improvements within the neighborhoods. 

The Johnston City Council first began discussing possible infrastructure improvements in the area in October.

The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnston Public Library on Monday.
