Stolen Nintendo System, Assault: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Feb. 7 to Feb. 9. Take a look at the reports.

Editor's note: All information below is provided by the Johnston Police Department in incident reports through Feb. 9. Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Feb. 7
A 29-year-old woman reported being pushed by a male subject, the victim did not want to press charges.

Feb. 8
A parent reported his daughter's Nintendo 3DS was stolen sometime in August 2012. He believes it was taken from one of the KTC summer programs and he did not know that it was taken until sometime in December. He advised the game system cost $170 and the game was $30. He needed a police report to switch his online account to the new game system that replaced the stolen one.

Feb. 9
Julie Zahnd, 46, was arrested for assault.
