Stolen Vehicle, Assault: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Dec. 25 to Dec. 27. Take a look at the reports.

All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 25
A woman reported her car stolen when it was left unlocked and running in her driveway. A short time later the vehicle was found, items had been stolen and damage done to the vehicle.

Dec. 26
The parents of an 11-year-old at a residential care home reported the child was assaulted by a caregiver.

Officers were dispatched in reference to a child custody dispute, the man was refusing to leave the residence.

Dec. 27
A 58-year-old man reported an unauthorized charge on his credit card.
