Summit Student Charged With Theft: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Feb. 7 to Feb. 12. Take a look at the reports.

Feb. 7
An 11-year-old male was charged with theft for stealing money from a wallet at Summit Middle School.

Feb. 12
Youth Homes of Mid America reported a runaway. The father returned the runaway later the same afternoon.

A 76-year-old man reported someone stole two guitars and his glasses from his residence. No forced entry was found.
