Suspicious Phone Call, Scratched Car: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Jan. 2 to Jan. 3. Take a look at the reports.

Jan. 2
A 45-year-old man reported receiving a harassing phone call from a male subject that he knows.

Officers were dispatched in regards to domestic issues.

Jan. 3
An 83-year-old man reported a suspicious phone call from a company requiring payment to renew an existing magazine subscription.

A 54-year-old reported someone scratched all around her vehicle doing damage to most of the panels. Damage occurred when the vehicle was parked in a lot of an apartment complex in the 6200 block of Meadow Crest Drive.
