What's Open and What's Closed on Christmas in Johnston?

The Christmas holiday is just a week away and with all the hustle and bustle taking place, we want you to be in the know when it comes to what's opened and what's closed in Johnston.

So, make a list, check it twice and get your errands done before businesses and city offices close.

City offices - including city hall and public works - will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25 in observation for the Christmas holiday.

Johnston Schools will dismiss for winter break on Friday this week. School resumes on Jan. 3.

The Johnston Public Library will be closed on Monday and Tuesday next week. The library will reopen on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Trash collection Tuesday through Friday next week will be delayed to the next day.

The Johnston location of the United State Postal Service will be closed on Tuesday for Christmas.
