16-Year-Old Charged with Drunken Driving, Driving on Wrong Side of Highway

The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Marion Police say they arrested a 16-year-old girl and charged her with an OWI and driving on the wrong side of the highway.

She was charged May 26 with driving while drugged/intoxicated, first offense, driving on the wrong side of the highway, a violation of a restricted license and failure to maintain control of her vehicle, at the 900 block of 31rst Street.

Four others were charged by the Marion Police Department with OWIs in the time period between May 18 and May 31, according to police records.

Lindsey Anne Kelley, 29, Cedar Rapids, was charged May 23 with driving while drugged/intoxicated at the 1800 block of 27th Street.

Larry James Martin, 62, 1595 Valentine Circle, Marion, was charged May 24 with driving while drunk/intoxicated, first offense, carrying weapons, excessive speeding and failure to maintain control of his vehicle, at the 5800 block of Winslow Drive.

Michael Adam Pruitt, 24, Coralville, was charged May 25  with driving while intoxicated/drugged, first offense and not providing proof of insurance, not accident related, at the 3300 block of Highway 100.

Matthew Ryan Moyer, 27, Marion, was charged May 26 with driving while drugged/intoxicated and not having insurance, not accident related, at the 400 block of 15th Street.
