    If you haven't already checked out the Marion Historical Society's exhibit focusing on a variety of items donated to the Marion Heritage Center, then this weekend is a great time to do so. The Marion Heritage Center opens from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children.

  • Marion Library Free Movie Nov. 20

  • The Marion Public Library will host a free showing of Disney's "The Lion King" from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. Families can bring their own snacks and children under 9 must be supervised.

  • Marion Avenue Baptist Church Thanksgiving Celebration Nov. 20

  • Church members will assemble a 21-foot-long cornucopia decoratively filled with bushels of fruits and vegetables, including apples, oranges, grapefruit, bananas and more. The display is open to the public at 10 a.m.
