Bomb Squad Called to Check Out Suspicious Package in Marion
According to the Marion Police Department, the bomb squad was called to attend to a suspicious package on 10th Street.

A suspsicoius package was found on the 600 block of 10th Street this morning and the bomb squad was called to investigate, said Chief Harry Daugherty.
Businesses in the area were evacuated, but Daugherty said the area has been cleared off and there is no threat.
Daugherty said the police were notified of the suspicous package at 9:46 a.m. this morning. He said he was unaware of what the suspcious package contained, but noted that the investigation is ongoing.
