"The part that really got us going was Ryan saying his Catholic faith informed his budget. My astute political analysis was: liar, liar pants on fire."

She's calling him a liar because the plan aims to cut $5 trillion off the budget over 10 years, including significant cuts to social spending to the poor and working class, while while adding $4 trillion in tax cuts.

To her, that doesn't fit with Christian principles of helping the less fortunate. For more info on the "nuns on a bus" tour, click here. They're making campaign stops all over the place, with many visits to congressional Republicans that have favored the budget.

In fact, earlier Monday, Ames Patch that the nuns visit to Congressman Steve King's Ames headquarters was cut short when they found his office locked. Campbell said that she has previously arranged an appointment with a King staffer that day.
