Police: 40 to 50 People Allegedly Found Smashing Car Windows with Baseball Bats in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids Police said an enormous brawl broke out in a Cedar Rapids neighborhood Tuesday night.

Cedar Rapids Police have said that anywhere from 40 to 50 people were found brawling in a Cedar Rapids neighborhood last night.

Six were sent to jail after the alleged fight erupted at 7 p.m. last night around the corner of Jacolyn Drive and First Avenue Northwest, according to the Gazette.

Police haven't released details as to what started the fight, whether anyone was injured, but said that crowd was seen smashing car windows with baseball bats.

The alleged fight was broken up by Marco, the Cedar Rapids police dog, after he was unleashed by the first officer to respond to the scene.
