Alleged China King Robbers Arrested

Two women from Cedar Rapids were charged with robbery connection with stealing from China King last week.

Cedar Rapids residents Trisha Miller and Laura Brown have been charged in the robbery at on Seventh Avenue, according to the Marion Police Department.

In the incident, China King owner Jenny Yan Lin chased after the women after they stole a tip jar, when she tried to pry the jar out of the woman's hands as they drove way, she sustained injuries from being dragged by the car.

Both Miller and Brown have been charged with robbery in the second degree, which is a felony.
