UPDATE: Domestic Dispute "Resolved," Classes Resume At Kirkwood
Kirkwood Community College has resumed classes at it main campus in Cedar Rapids.

Moments after sending an email alert that classes at in Cedar Rapids had been canceled, the school sent out another email alert saying classes are resuming.
An unspecified domestic dispute was at the root of the cancellation, according to the school. KGAN is reporting the classes were temporarily cancelled due to fear that there was a gun on campus, but the suspect in the dispute was later found by authorities.
Here is the first statement sent at 1:44 p.m. today:

"Classes at the Kirkwood Main Campus in Cedar Rapids are canceled immediately due to a domestic incident and will remain closed throughout the evening hours. This does not affect non class activities. More info to follow as available."
Here is the second statement sent at 1:56 p.m. today:

"Kirkwood Main Campus - the domestic situation at Main Campus has been resolved. Â Classes will resume at 2:00 pm."
