Collins Community Credit Union Warns of Scam Attempts

The credit union is receiving reports of robocalls about debit card security.

Collins Community Credit Union, which has a location in Marion and several in Cedar Rapids, is warning customers of a possible phone scam.

Numerous credit union branches are receiving reports of recorded phone calls about debit card security. The credit union advises that their reps will never ask for a pin number.

Collins Community Credit Union: We continue to receive reports of recorded phone calls to some of our members regarding debit card security. These calls were not initiated by CCCU. If our fraud monitoring service does contact you to verify suspicious transactions, their valid callback numbers are 1-866-750-9107 and 1-800-262-2024. Please be advised that our representatives will never ask you for your PIN number, or your full card number.
