Stop by the Marion Public Library this Friday to donate blood for the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center.

Haven't given blood in a while? Want to see my friendly, smiling face and help some strangers by donating some vital fluid?
Stop by the this Friday from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. to donate blood to the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) at a Marion Patch sponsored blood drive.
I know it might be your first time, you might be afraid of needles and you might get a general uncomfortable feeling when you think of everything involved in giving blood, but don't worry, it's my first time too, so I'll be right there with you.

Maybe you are a little concerned about where the blood will go and how it will be used. Representatives from MVRBC assured me that the blood donated will be used in local hospitals, like Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Worried you can't donate due to some kind of condition, medication or medical history? Call or email MVRBC and you can get all your questions answered.
