Same Women Found Unconscious Along Road in Coralville, Walking 'Dazed’ on I-380; Taken to Linn County Jail

Cedar Rapids Police say they found 29-year-old Amber Vincentz walking "dazed" and nearly unresponsive along Interstate 380 on Wednesday.

Cedar Rapids Police say they found Amber Vincentz walking northbound on Interstate 380 at 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday appearing “dazed” — she only stopped walking after an officer grabbed her arm and seemed to indicate that she couldn’t speak.

Police later discovered that this was the same woman who made news a week ago after being found unconscious on a highway in Coralville. She said she had been assaulted, according to the Gazette.

She was transported to Mercy Hospital, at which point she broke her silence and spoke to a doctor, but refused treatment.
