As Snow Storm Draco blew into Marion on Wednesday evening, school leaders for Marion Independent and Linn-Mar decided to call off classes on Thursday.

School has been cancelled for Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 in both districts due to weather conditions, along with many others across Iowa. Linn-Mar school day cares are also closed.
The city has also declared a snow emergency, which restricts on-street parking.

In the meantime kids, grab a sled, gloves and scarf and a shovel and get outside.
