Easter Season Approaches: Five Christian Book Suggestions to Consider from Noah's Archive of Marion
Are you interested in celebrating the spiritual aspects of the holiday rather than just the Easter Egg part of it? (don't worry we'll cover that part, too). Noah's Archive has a few books you should check out in it or other Christian book

Americans celebrate Easter in a very American way: that is to say, they celebrate it in tons of different ways varying by their own creeds and family histories.
For some, Easter is a time to gather plastic eggs and pig out on candy. For others it is a celebration for Spring. But for a large portion of Christian Americans it is an important spiritual time, centering on their reverence for the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
To get one Christian perspective on this holiday, I went to the Marion Christan Bookstore Noah's Archive, and they gave me a list of titles they would recommend from their store to read up on the season from a Christian perspective.

Here are their suggestions with links to Amazon descriptions. But don't buy them from Amazon, buy local (sorry Amazon, gotta stick with my Marion peoples):
1. John Piper, 50 Reason Jesus Came to Die.

A book focusing on the death of Christ, why it happened, and its spiritual significance.
2. Lee Strobel, The Case for Easter.
A journalistic attempt to prove that Christ did in fact rise from the dead.
3. Grace Mally, Will Our Generation Speak? A Call to be Bold with the Gospel*
*I spoke with Grace, who works at Noah's Archive, and she said that the book contains a discussion on Easter and its relevence to young people.
4. Tim Lovett, Noah's Ark: Thinking Outside the Box.
After all, the store is called Noah's Archive for a reason.
5. The Bible. I suppose this should be number one on the list, but it's sort of a tough act to follow.
They have these available in multiple versions commonly used by most faiths, but they do advise if you want some specialty version, such as one in Latin, you should probably seek it at another store.
