Marion Police Charge Eight with OWI Over Six-Day Period
The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

The  charged six people with drunken driving over a six-day period.
According to documents from the Marion Police Department, the following were charged between May 4 and May 10.
Sarah Elizabeth Steger, 34, 2851 Regal Court, Marion, was charged May 10 with driving while drunk/intoxicated, first offense, in addition to failure to obey a traffic control device, at the corner of First Avenue and 22nd Street.

Richard Charles Jonson, 24, 2860 Second Ave., Marion, was charged May 9 with driving while drunk/intoxicated, first offense, interference with official acts and careless driving, at the 2600 block of Second Avenue.
Michael David Shaffer, 34, Cedar Rapids, was charged May 9 with driving while drunk/drugged driving, first offense, driving with a suspended license, not having insurance, not accident related, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and speeding, in the 900 block of Blairs Ferry Road.

Michael James Sealy, 21, Cedar Rapids, was charged May 6 with driving while drunk/intoxicated, first offense, speeding, not having insurance, not accident related and driving without registration, at the corner of Highway 13 and Linn Aire Avenue.
Chad Jeremy Boline, 29, 2620 Sixth St., Marion, was charged May 6 with driving while drunk/intoxicated, first offense, damage accident to vehicle and failure to obey a control device, at the corner of Blairs Ferry Road and Lindale Road.Â
Joseph Gray Privetta, 27, 2899 Fifth Ave., Marion, was charged May 5 with driving while intoxicated/drugged, driving with a suspended license and not having proof of insurance, not accident related, at the 700 block of 11th Street.
Jessica Rose Denton, 27, 1837 Fernow Road, Marion, was charged May 5 with driving while intoxicated/drugged, first offense and failure to display registered plates, at the 2900 block of 10th Avenue.
Mark Joseph Warner, 31, Cedar Rapids, was charged May 5 with driving while intoxicated/drugged, first offense and speeding, at the 2500 block of Highway 100.
