Marion Dad Turns Son in to Police After Allegedly Finding Him Sleeping in Garden Shed

The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Zachary James Gerdes, a 20-year-old Marion resident, was kicked out of his house, according to Marion Police Detective Lance Miller.

With apparently no place to go, he allegedly began sleeping in his father's garden shed.

Miller said his father discovered his son sleeping in the shed and knew there was a warrant out for his arrest, so he called the Marion Police department to pick him up.
