Update: Missing Woman Located, Receiving Medical Attention

Authorities located Melinda Rhoads, 56, of Cedar Rapids, at about 8 p.m. in Johnson County. She had been last seen at about Wednesday morning when she left work from Mercy Medical Center not feeling well.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – May 16, 2013 
– The Cedar Rapids Police Department were informed the missing woman, Melinda Rhoads/56 of NE Cedar Rapids, was found. Just before 8:00 pm, Ms. Rhoads was located in Johnson County. She will be receiving medical attention.

Help locate Missing Woman

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – May 16, 2013 – The Cedar Rapids Police Department is asking the public to help in locating a missing woman. Melinda Rhoads/56 of NE Cedar Rapids, was last seen on May 15, 2013, at about 9:10 am. Melinda Rhoads had left work at Mercy Medical Center  on the 5th Ave side. She stated she was not feeling well. She is described as a white female, 5’4”, 140 pounds, wearing black and white jacket with a black skirt and black high heel shoes. She has brown length hair. A photo has been attached.

She was driving a 2005 silver/green Chrysler 300, 641WJK. A photo of a similar vehicle is attached.
