Jaime Printy Gets Bobbleheaded: University of Iowa Honors Former Linn-Mar Star and Beats Ohio State

University of Iowa honored the former Linn-Mar student and standout on the basketball court with a bobblehead version of herself. Thursday night was Jaime Printy bobblehead night.

The first 750 fans coming to see Iowa take on Big Ten rival Ohio State at Carver-Hawkeye Arena received a free Jaime Printy bobblehead.

Really, Hawks fans were treated to a double bonus because Iowa defeated the No. 24 Buckeyes in overtime 77-71. Iowa improves its record to 12-3, while Ohio State falls to 10-4. Printy scored 14 points in 39 minutes.

Printy is average 14.3 points per game, which is good enough for second most on the team.

Printy, now a senior, has been a leader on the court for the Hawkeyes since her freshman year. Printy tore her ACL, which caused her to miss half of her junior year, but she has come back strong this year.

At 15 years old, she committed to the Iowa women's basketball program, becoming the youngest ever to do so. She was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

At Linn-Mar she was a three-time consensus first team all-state, all-conference, all-district and all-metro selection.
