Updated Linn County lifts tow ban. Previous Drive safe tonight. A tow ban has just been issued by the Linn County Sheriff's Department: Via a department press release: <blockquote> The Linn County Sheriff's Office has issued a countywide tow ban for all Linn County roads until further notice. Vehicles will not be allowed to be towed unless theypose an immediate danger. </blockquote> Winter Storm Rocky is expected to continue to drop snow on the area through tomorrow afternoon. A winter storm warning was declared in Marion through noon tomorrow by the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities.
