Linn County Swears in Elected Officials: Sheriff, Supervisors; Harris Selected Chairperson
Supervisors Linda Langston, Brent Oleson and Ben Rogers and Sheriff Brian Gardner were among those sworn in on Wednesday by Judge Patrick Grady.

It's four more years for a number of elected officials around Linn County who were sworn in for their new terms on Wednesday.
Linn County Supervisors Linda Langston (District 2), Brent Oleson (District 4) and Ben Rogers (District 3) were sworn in for their four-year terms. They won re-election in November.
Also in news from the Board of Supervisors, Supervisor John Harris was selected to serve as board chairperson and Supervisor Lu Barron was selected vice chairperson for 2013.

Also Wednesday, Linn County Sheriff Brian Gardner was sworn in for his four-year term. Deputies Colonel John Stuelke, Major Gerald Hansel, Jr., Major John Godar, Major Doug Riniker and Major Peter Wilson were also sworn in.
Judge Patrick Grady officiated the swearing in ceremonies.

Linn County Auditor Joel Miller, who also won re-election in November, was sworn into office for his four-year term on November 21.
