UPDATE (11 a.m.): Marion Schools Announce Early Dismissal, City Declares Parking Emergency
An expected snow accumulation of five inches means difficulty getting uptown and happy kids that you have to pick up earlier.

According to the National Weather Service, Marion should see around five inches of snowfall by the end of daytime.
The has announced that all schools in their district will be closed two hours early today. The will follow suit with a two-hour early dissmissal.
According to a tweet from Linn-Mar Television News, no sports games or practices will be held tonight.

The recently declared a snow route parking emergency from 12 p.m. today to 7 a.m. tomorrow, so make sure to get any cars you have out of the emergency snow routes.
