Linn-Mar Students Help in Marion's Pitch for Main Street Iowa Designation (Video)
Marion received a Main Street Iowa designation this week, after two years of work. The Future Business Leaders of America from Linn-Mar helped make the case.
Marion business leaders, present and future, made a case for how a Main Street Iowa designation would help the historic uptown district thrive and grow.
Student officers from Linn-Mar's Future Business of America joined the Marion Chamber of Commerce presentation to the state economic development council for the Main Street Iowa presentation.
That bid proved successful last week, when the designation was bestowed.
