Linn-Mar Debuting New Web Store this Fall
The new system will allow Linn-Mar to assign instructional fees to students en masse.

It will be interesting to see how this works. Has Linn-Mar had troubles with its fee assessments before?
From the Linn-Mar School District
Beginning in the fall of 2013 the Linn-Mar Community School District is unveiling a new web store. The new site will allow you to purchase many of the items that your students will need over the course of the school year. Not only will you be able to pay the standard instructional fee and add money to your meal account, but you will also be able to buy things like yearbooks, activity passes, instrument and/or uniform rental, and more.
The new site has also allowed us to rethink our policy on convenience fees*. With the new site we will not be charging a fee for items which must be purchased. There may still be some modest fees associated with a few of the products that are available. But, this would be limited to items that are not required as part of enrollment.Â

The site can be accessed by visiting https://intouch.linnmar.k12.ia.us . You have an account, but on your first visit, you will not know your username or password. There is a link available that will allow you to request the username via email. Simply enter the email address listed in PowerSchool for the primary contact, and it should find your account and email the information to you. Once you have that, you will be able to set a password of your choosing and log in.
When you log in, you should see each student you have in the district, as well as the name of the person listed as the primary contact within PowerSchool. Instructional fees will be mass assigned to students so you will see that fee pop up for each student as well as any other outstanding fees they may have in the system. You can then choose what else you wish to purchase from the web store.Â

Some items are available only to students within a building. For example, you may be able to buy a high school yearbook for your high school student, but you would not find that item listed for your elementary school aged children. Similarly, many items may not be visible if you click on your own name before shopping.
Please log in and look around the options and products that are available. We hope that this will increase the efficiency of online registration as well as provide a convenience to parents/guardians during the school year. If you have questions or concerns, please email Business Manager Angie Morrison at amorrison@linnmar.k12.ia.us .
*convenience fees are fees charged to offset the District cost for online payments charged by the credit card company.
