Marion Police: Local Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A motorcycle accident resulted in the death of a local man over the weekend.

According to the Gazette and the , a man was driving a motorcycle on Highway 13 when he was struck by a green sports utility vehicle.

The motorcycle driver was killed in the crash, but his female passenger survived and was transported to a local hospital. 

The wife of the owner of a driving range that is located at the intersection said she had seen around four accidents happen in that intersection since they opened last June.

The name of the victim was not immediately released.
