The latest inspection conducted by Calhoun-Burns and Associates of West Des Moines shows an inventory of well maintained bridges in Marion.
"The overall report is that the bridges are in excellent shape," said Maryann Shinrock, assistant city engineer.

The inspection includes the structures required for inspection under the National Bridge Inspection Standards regulation, and culverts under a roadway with a span of at least 20 feet.
The map includes when the bridge was built, the type of bridge, its rating, and any comments.Â
