Who hasn't been waiting all winter to kickback on a patio for happy hour cocktails with a group of friends after work, take a break from a long bike ride with an icy cold beer or enjoy a glass of wine with you significant other at the end of the week?
Marion has 23 businesses that serve alcohol outdoors, such as Cibo Fusion or Villas Patio, and Linn County has another 138. Iowa as whole has more than 3,000 permits for alcohol outdoors, according to the Iowa Alcoholic Beverage Division.
