Details for Marion High and Linn-Mar Class of 2013 graduation ceremonies.

 

Marion High School

Rehearsal: Friday, May 24, 2013 at 9 a.m., at Marion High Gold Gym. All seniors must be in attendance to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Graduation: 6 p.m., Sunday, May 26; Doors open at 5 p.m. Students should arrive no later than 5:20 p.m. at Cedar Rapids Ice Arena, 1100 Rockford Road SW.

Students should meet in the lower area southeast of the rink.

School fees be paid before the Class of 2013’s last day, which is Thursday, May 23, 2013.

Read Photography will be taking individual pictures of each graduate receiving their diploma during the ceremony. Following the graduation ceremony selection choices and a price sheet will be sent to each of family. For questions about caps and gowns, announcements, or other details, call 377-9891 x1123 (Ann Griest).

 

Linn-Mar

Graduation: Sunday, May 26, 1:00 p.m. at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. The doors will open at 12:00 p.m. 

Seating capacity is limited at the arena, and student seating requests have been gathered. All guests at this year’s ceremony must have a ticket to enter the arena.

Tickets will be issued to students following Graduation rehearsal on Thursday, 
May 16. Seating is general admission for those with a Commencement admission ticket.

Any individuals with special needs for seating should contact the high 
school main office (447-3043) to make requests.

The Cedar Rapids Kernels do have an afternoon home game at adjacent Veterans’ Stadium on May 26, so plan accordingly for travel time and parking near the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.
