Marion By Moonlight: A 'Small Town Feel' in Marion
Marion's popular concert series, Marion by Moonlight, drew approximately 1,000 people to Marion Square Park.
Rodney Bluml and his wife, Bonnie, have been coming to Marion by Moonlight for years, if a little off and on.
And there's a simple reason for that.
"The feel is very positive, it is a great meeting for Marion to come together," Rodney Bluml said.

Marion by Moonlight — the weekly Thursday night concert series put on by during the month of June, in Marion Square Park, certainly did bring people to Marion. Approximately a thousand showed up to the three hour festival, including a minority of folks who stayed later.
This week's concert was performed by the band is Lonesome Road, a self-described "high energy" country band.

The series will continue next week and will feature the band Crazy Delicious.
Though some I spoke to weren't necessarily fans of country music, many told me that the series is simply a fun, relaxing time to gather with the community.
Marion resident Mary Hanschildt agreed, and maybe went a step further than that.
"It feels like a big family," she said. "A small town feel not in a small town"
