Marion by Moonlight Week Three: Screeching, Beer and Ice Cream
Marion's popular concert series, Marion by Moonlight, drew approximately 1,000 people to Marion Square Park.
Chelsea McCurdy said she's been coming to Marion by Moonlight for years — she makes it a point.
"I try to make it to every concert. I wouldn't miss it," she said.
And, while she played with her "nearly" 2-year-old daughter Charlie McCurdy , she was hanging out with approximately 1,000 people that made the park look like packed deserted island in Marion's uptown.

The concert series features a variety of food vendors as well, like and the Marion . Visitors to the park were often seen drinking light alcoholic beverages as well.
This week's concert was performed by the band KantiRocks, a band that bills themselves as "ALL KILLER, NO FILLER." They played a variety of classic pop rock songs sung by the occasionally shrieking singer, "Nikki."

The series will continue next week and will feature the band Silver Wings.
The weekly Thursday night concert series is put on by  during the month of June.
