Marion City Council May Look at Adding Extra Bus Route
Marion City Council members may look at the possibility of adding another bus route to the east side of Highway 13.

As we well know, Marion is a growing city.
There's construction abound and numerous improvements to the city's infrastructure in the works.Â
But Marion City Manager Lon Pluckhahn said the bus routes haven't changed in around ten years. An item on today's city council agenda may begin the process to change that, he said.

The Marion City Council will consider whether to consider filing a request for an additional stop to the east side of Highway 13, an area of Marion that Plukhahn said has seen significant growth over the past decade and does not have it's own bus stop.Â
In addition to the bus stop, city council members will be deciding whether to buy tools from the late Marion Public Works mechanic, . Pluckhahn said Dunkel had hundreds of tools specific to Marion's fleet of vehicles and its machines.
