Linn County is one of 15 counties under a tow ban from the Iowa State Patrol due to weather conditions. This applies to interstates and highways.

A blizzard that has been named Draco is expected to hit tonight and all day tomorrow bringing high winds and up to 15 inches of snow.
Thus far no school cancellations have been announced.
