Marion Handbag Boutique Making Changes

PurseNality Of Marion is changing hours.

A local handbag boutique is making some changes.

PurseNality of Marion, 725 11th St., is transitioning from being open six days a week to two weekends a month. The open days will be each second and fourth weekend of every month.

"I understand this is a transition, and it will be for us as well," store owner Kate Ungs said in an email to customers that she shared with Patch. "However, we really do feel that this will better service everyone. And you can still count on our same customer service, quality handbags and return policy."

Each Saturday will feature a different vendor.

Ungs said the decision to change the hours will afford her more time with her new baby.

"I have taken this store and have nurtured it and I have loved it," Ungs said in a letter to customers that she sent to Patch. "Now that I am a new mom to a precious son I would like to have more time with him to nurture him and love him."

"Being that I love the store and primarily my customers I wanted to come up with a great solution that would allow me more quality time with my son but would also keep the store fresh and fun for you all. And I think I have," she said.
