Need a Laugh? Marion High School with 'Expired Prison Food' and 'Sewage Spills' for Rent
Marion High School is the subject of a prank on Craigslist.

Â
We live in an age of Punk'D and other prank-related shenanigans.Â
Here's a pretty far fetched one that is circulating in social media today. Someone has posted that the Marion High School is for rent. I have a call into the school district about this, but have not yet got a response.Â

Sarah Pinion, superintendent of the Marion Independent School District, told the Gazette "that would be known as a senior prank," and the building is not actually for available.
The post starts off promisingly enough: "Large school building for rent/lease. Has many rooms, two gymnasiums, a state of the art fitness center, an auditorium, and a cafeteria with attached kitchen perfect for feeding many people ..."

And, here's where it heads off into prankville.
"...expired prison food. The hallways were recently outfitted with a camera system so that the owners can pretend they are the ruler of a police state. The roof has a few minor leaks, but they are easily contained with large, industrial style trash cans. Often times there is more than one working toilet in the building, and sewage spills happen less than twice a year on average. While the building may seem perfect, unfortunately a large amount of airborne asbestos was recently found circulating throughout the building due to a strange fault in the HVAC system. A moderate amount of radon gas has been found in some of the classrooms as well, but no more than 60% of the building was affected by it. Our lawyers have advised us that the best course of action at this point is to get rid of the building and start anew, so the rent has been highly discounted. Almost any reasonable offer will be accepted at this point.Â
