Marion Man Pleads Guilty to Distributing Heroin
James Sullivan, a 30-year-old Marion man, has been convicted of distributing heroin 1,000 feet from a school.

James Sullivan, 30, of Marion, pleaded guilty today after he was accused of supplying heroin to a friend at a drug treatment facility.
Sullivan's friend overdosed from heroin, which landed him in the facility, according to KCRG. Three days later, Sullivan apparently supplied him with two syringes of heroin at the Cedar Rapids treatment facility.

Sullivan was convicted of distributing heroin 1,000 feet from a school. Sullivan has not been sentenced yet, but he'll likely face anywhere from one to 40 years in prison.
