Police: Marion Man Violates No-Contact Order at Girlfriend's Request

The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

David Lee Stackhouse, a 52-year-old from Davenport, was charged for breaking a no-contact order twice in two days.

On the first charge on March 20, someone phoned the police after seeing Stackhouse shoving around his girlfriend near her house, Marion police Lt. Doug Slagle said.

Slagle said Stackhouse returned the next day at the request of his girlfriend to help her around the house. Slagle said she is disabled.

An argument ensued and was again charged with a violation of a no-contact order due to domestic abuse, according to police.

In a previous post, Marion Patch was charged with public intoxication and a violation of a no-contact order for domestic abuse on Jan. 26.

"He often patronizes our facility here," said Slagle.

Slagle said it is up to the judge that issued the no-contact order to act on these charges.
