Marion Police Blotter: Synthetic Pot Arrest in Marion

Michael Robert Schlegel, 38, of Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of a synthetic cannabinoid and driving with a suspended license and registration and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Paula Ellen Marie Clymer, Cedar Rapids, was charged with operating while intoxicated/drugged, first offense, and speeding. 

Wallace Edward Zimmerman, Marion, was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Antione Nathaniel Tyson, Jr., Marion, was charged with driving with a suspended license and registration.

Jamie Renae Norman, Cedar Rapids, was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Oct. 31

Earl John Schwartz, Marion, was charged with assault.

Shawna Renee Goettsche, Cedar Rapids, was charged with consumption in public/public intoxication.

Christopher Vernon Smith, Cedar Rapids, was charged with consumption in public/public intoxication.

Oct. 30

Christy Lynn Heim, Marion, was charged with domestic assualt with intent to cause serious injury.

Eric Jeffery Branden, Marion, was charged with operating while intoxicated/drugged, second offense, open container while driving and no insurance, not accident related.

David Albert Jackson, Marion, was charged with violation of no contact order due to domestic abuse.

Mitchell Jaye Gasper, Cedar Rapids, was charged with domestic abuse, simple, and harassment in the first degree.
