Marion Police Investigate Report of Robbery Outside KFC Restaurant

Marion Police are investigating a report of a robbery outside of KFC, the fast-food chain formerly known as , this afternoon.

A man reported being robbed by two to three men behind the fast-food restaurant at 1925 Seventh Ave. at about 2:44 p.m., according to a news release from Marion Police Chief Harry Daugherty.

The man's wallet was taken and handgun was displayed during the robbery, Daugherty said. The men fled in an unknown vehicle, possibly maroon or red in color, he said.
