Toddler Time

Theme: We Dig Our Heroes
(18 months to 3 years)
Each session is 20 minutes long and will include stories, music, and activities.
 
Adults, please remain with your children during all reading activities for safety reasons. We encourage you to engage in the activities and songs; your children will learn from what you model. Remember to turn off or mute cell phones.
 
Children - Doodlebugs

Marion Public Library teams up with the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art to bring you Doodlebugs!  The Summer semester celebrates Caldecott winners & honorees, like Brian Selznick, who is featured in the new exhibition, From Houdini to Hugo.  The Caldecott Medal is awarded to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book of the year.

King Bidgood's in the Bathtub
The king spends all day playing in the bathtub. We'll imagine all the things that make bath time fun, and create a "splashy" work
