Marion Weather Alert: Tornado Watch for Linn County Until 9:00 P.M. Sunday
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for several counties in Northeastern Iowa as strong storms are predicted to arrive in the area by the late afternoon and evening.

Iowa's record breaking streak without a tornado may come to an end tonight as forecasters are predicting strong storms could be coming into the area.
The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a tornado watch until 9:00 p.m. Sunday for much of Northeastern Iowa including Linn County on the southern edge of the watch.
